On Wednesday morning, two female suicide bombers attacked a mosque in northeastern Nigeria. This attack killed 24 people and left 18 more wounded. A terrorist group named Bako Haram has been terrorizing this part of Nigeria for years, and they suspect that they are responsible for the attack.

There has been a major push by the Nigerian military to destroy the group, but they are proving to be tougher to wipe out than expected. Not surprisingly, the bombings have “unnerved hundreds of thousands of people”. These people in their fright have fled their homes and are either living in camps that are running out of food and water or they are crammed into temporary housing with friends relatives, or strangers. A scary and depressing situation is taking place in Nigeria right now, and the latest attack is great evidence of it.
