Despite mass distaste for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, they are doing extremely well in the polls and winning states as they cross America in hopes to be in the running to become the next U.S. President.

Many  in our nation our politically apathetic, meaning that they don’t participate in the political process. There are many individuals who feel their vote won’t count or that there is no point in voting.

If this election has taught us anything, it is that now is the time to destroy the apathy and gather voters. If we all believe that our vote won’t count then we as a people have failed our nation. We must believe in our democracy and the future of it, and we must vote for politicians who we believe will lead our country to prosperity and peace.

We must all become informed voters and exercise our right to vote. Many before us have died for the opportunity to grant others this right. Don’t take it for granted.
