A bus crash in Spain killed 13 people on Sunday. This crash is one of the worst road accidents in Spain in the past two decades. All of the victims of the crash were women believed to be foreigners studying at a University in Barcelona. The crash has been attributed to human error and the driver showed no indication of drugs or alcohol. The crash occurred at around 6 a.m. in the morning and the time of the crash is causing many of the victim’s families to question why the bus was driving so early in the morning. The last time a crash of this magnitude occurred in Spain was in 2014 where 14 people were killed. In comparison to other countries the roads of Spain are relatively safe. Unfortunately, when someone gets into a vehicle there are always risks involved.
