It’s pretty clear now that Hillary Clinton won’t be indicted for misuse of her private email usage, which allowed sensitive information from the government to fall into the wrong hands. And as far as Clinton is concerned, “she’ll be happy to accept the no-indictment outcome, and the people who reject it will never be Clinton voters anyway.”
But it presents a problem for the criminal justice system. “Heads, Clinton’s indicted; tails, they’re corrupt. For this crowd, there is no outcome here that contemplates independent, sober-minded prosecutors looking at the facts and the law and reaching a contrary conclusion.”
So what is to be done? Indict Clinton, or face the fact that the government officials may not be as honest and moral as they once were.
