Many more are dead in Myanmar. Similarly, just as in the past, those killed are of a minority group. The Rakhine State which lies on the border of Bangladesh and Myanmar has experienced more violence than they have probably hoped for. Though not desired, these occurrences run consistent with the ideology that different civilizations tend to disagree and end up entering violent conflict. Strangely, in this conflict, the muslim world is at the mercy of Buddhist extremist mobs.


As Myanmar is positioned on this so-called border of ideology and religion, it consequently experiences more violence than what would be expected between these two countries.
