This article looks at Trump’s travel ban from the perspective of couples who have been separated as a result of the ban. The ban has affected not only immigrants and refugees, but also couples who are of different nationalities–many who met online or on business trips. While I am personally against the travel ban, I can acknowledge that when it comes to complex international issues, it is hard to propose a solution that will please everyone. (I have particularly learned this while being a part of competitions such as Model Arab League.)

Whether or not readers like Trump’s ban, it is hard not to get a little bit hooked on the love story aspect of this article. It seems appropriate for February.
