The GOP finally released their ACA-replacement plan that they claimed would be the salve to Obamacare’s wounds. However, the Congressional Budget Office released their score on the plan, and they calculated that within ten years, twenty-four million Americans would be without health insurance. GOP Senators are coming out and saying that the proposal would not become law without changes that mitigate this problem. And that is what this is: a problem.

One of the reasons health insurance has been a hot topic for years is because not enough people have it. This is a drain on the entire healthcare system as individuals are unable to receive care, hospitals don’t receive payment for care provided, and federal dollars are eaten up trying to make sure a healthcare system remains intact. Changes need to be made to the plan to reduce the number of uninsured Americans.
